The Malaysian Kennel Association's Ng Keng Meng will be highlighting on the great responsibilities that comes with owning a pet.

"It is by nature that man and animals form a unique relationship," Keng Meng told PET+BLOGSPOT.

"Many pets are kept to work, protect, hunt aid or just for that wonderful feeling that we call companionship," he added.

"Whichever purpose, pet owners need to have responsibilities for their special friend.

"There include a safe home, good food, cleaning, regular exercise to proper socialization and training - without which one's relationship with their pet could result in a socially incompatible relationship.

"Being responsible to our neighbours, following the bylaws set by municipals and a basic understanding of animal behaviour are all vital when it comes to sharing our life with our natural animal friends."  Concluded Keng Meng.
