Yahoo! Tiger Back Home For Snake Year Celebrations!

PETPOSITIVE NEWSFLASH!

DATELINE SECTION 5, PETALING JAYA:

THE THREE-YEAR OLD LOST DOBERMAN which has been pining for its owner since Tuesday is now happily with its owners and other doggie friends this evening.

Lost Tiger

This means Tiger will be joining with its family's Chinese reunion dinner tomorrow.

It couldn't have been a moment sooner.

The dog was discovered by the Petaling Jaya City Council's (MBPJ) dog-catching team early this week after a resident living in Section 5/9F called in with a complaint.

The animal had been straying around his neighbourhood, raising concern by people who encountered the dog.

Going home

However, it has showed no aggression to anyone except to seem lost and pining for its owner.

I called up an animal rescuer for help. With her help, we met 28-year old John Thomas, a resident of Section 5, who had befriended the canine earlier with some food.

John took the Dobie to his home the very night and looked after it until this afternoon.

Prancing around in background

Miraculously he found the owners an hour ago. They were just about to call him from the fliers he had put out on Tiger.

John rushed back to his house and called Tiger its name. It jumped to its feet, tail wagging, and was soon reunited to his home.

"He was so happy and jumping about with two other dogs in the house that were his playmates," John told PET+BLOGSPOT.

"Yes, I'm home at last all right."

It was learnt that the Doberman had escaped from its compound and didn't know how to get back home.

The owners were very grateful to have their dog back and thanked John and his family for looking after him.

John who works with Nivmas Enterprise says that Tiger came over to him as he was about to leave as if to thank him for taking care of him.

As far as PET+BLOGSPOT is concerned, we are just glad that the very lucky dog managed to find its owners again thanks to some kind people like John and his friends who worked tireless and selflessly to find Tiger's owners.

What a wonderful way to start the Year of the Serpent celebrations tomorrow. Happy Lunar New Year everyone!
