Petpositive Dog To Have Surgery Today

LATeST: Surgery has been pushed later to 4pm.

DATELINE PETALING JAYA:

ONE OF PETPOSITIVE'S most dedicated dogs is going in for surgery this afternoon.

Seven-year old Biman III will be operated on for haematoma of the ear.

The surgery is expected to be straightforward, said Biman's guardian and Petpositive President Anthony Thanasayan to PET+BLOGSPOT.

Dr Prem Anand will be performing the procedure in his Gasing Veterinary Clinic in PJ.

Biman will then rest in the clinic for several hours before he is brought home.

His full recovery is expected to take 3 weeks.

"My beloved GSD already started to suspect something suspicious when I took away his water and food bowls at 7 this morning," said Anthony this morning.

"However, I made sure he had a full meal late last night.

"The lump is Biman's ear only seems to get worse thus surgery is inevitable.

"Even though his right affected ear may probably not be able to stay erect again, I'm so relieved he has nothing more serious than that."

Biman III's predecessor was Biman II who inspired Thanasayan to form Bivai Special Dogs before Petpositive was birthed.

Biman II died of cancer at aged seven.

Biman III's surgery is scheduled for 1pm today.

PETPOSITIVE requests the prayers of all pet lovers for Biman's full recovery.
