Lat Koya Raps MDDB For Comments On Politicians

Lat at PJ police station on Wednesday

In response to MDDB's nasty remarks in "Politicians Barred" piece

by Latheefa Koya on Thursday, September 8, 2011 at 4:26pm

Its this kind of petty silly attitude that doesn't help the cause for animal rights - why blame the politicians who had in fact helped to put up the pressure on to the police. I am also shocked that this writer is viciously happy with the way police conducted themselves - justifying their uncooperative ways.

This is terrible! Thank God - the aggrieved cat owners were not carried away with this kind of narrow sentiments,  they had no problems in speaking and dealing with the politicians.

Politicians don't gain anything but ire from both sides - if you do something you are accused of seeking publicity - if you don't - you are accused of apathy. Media is equally, a very  important  tool in highlighting this issue and to help step up the public pressure.

So it really comes as a surprise that a self proclaimed animal rights activist / organisation proudly dismisses the need to use media (although its quite hard to believe because I do see MDDB publicising its activities and statements many times over). Is there some kind of jealousy or hidden agenda that I am missing here? Surely this should not be a reason to undermine a serious case of animal abuse here.

I am not an animal rights activist - I am no doubt a political activist -  I sure am not going to apologise for being one. However if you as an animal activist cannot see the need for a political will to effect serious reforms and policies with regards to animal rights issues then, I am afraid you are clearly missing the point of activism here.

Further in the name of transparency and all that has happened recently- seriously, I am curious to know who is behind MDDB especially since it is seeking public funds here - and sincerely hope that its not another Petknode type who preys on animal lovers!

MBBD's antics for publicity is still going on I see. From making so many stupid statements to praying outside somebody's house in Klang! I wonder what's to come next?

I even read that they were quite jubilant when 2 RELA guys died in an accident involving a stray cat that was crossing the road. The MDDB said that it was because of KARMA that the RELA guys died!

If this is the way Animal Activists are supposed to behave, I pity all the animals! LOL!

Well done Latheefa!

The blog author hides behind her dog called Shamini Popiko. What a coward.

She acts as if she is the queen of animal rescue. From the looks of it, she is trying to go for Datukship.

What a sycophant!

The MDDB really said that about the Rela men? I'm shocked! Who the hell are these people anyway? What hypocrites!

LOL! Yes the blog author pretends to be decent in public but in actual fact, she's really a conniving and vile person who runs her mouth with vulgarities every single chance she gets. That why she hides behind her dogs name when she writes. As mentioned, she's a REAL COWARD AND A HYPOCRITE! My friend had an unlucky encounter with her sometime back and reported that she bitches about other animal groups very often!
