History-in-the-making at MPK Dog Pound

PETPOSITIVE NEWS!

DATELINE: NORTHPORT, KLANG:

Thursday, January 27, 9.30am:

Our two-hour meeting started on time. All of us were excited about how it would go and the decisions reached at the end.

DVS Zul checks on his notes whilst SPCA's Christine is about to take a sip of her coffee to prepare for a tough meeting.

Dr Thiba with her orthopaedic cast goes through her professional report by the DVS on the MPK pound. That's me with the suit. The lady with her head to the camera is Jacqueline Tsang, one of the directors of Save-A-Stray organisation that went into the dog rescue work in Pulau Ketam in Klang not long ago.

Let's not forget Zulkiflee Abbas (in Batik attire) the acting director of Health who is a pleasure to work with.

Here is the SPCA Selangor van that brought 10 brand new cages as a gift for some of the dogs at the pound that needed to be separated for other aggresive dogs.

The food was donated by a friend of Mrs Pat Lim who has been appointed to be in-charge of the pound from the NGO-side.
Jacqueline of SAS was quite pleased with the cleanliness of the pound and its airy surroundings.

Watching the SPCA cages being mantled and then voila! Some of the CAT Committee at the pound.

Here are some of the food that was donated.
