CGG to Meet Teng to Express Dissatisfaction Over Councillor-Selections

Nearly a dozen non governmental organisations representing the Coalition for Good Governance are meeting the head of local councils in Selangor Dato Teng Chang Khim at noon in his office today. 

Representatives from NGOs like Suaram, Empower, Komas and others will be expressing their concerns over the current local councillor appointment processes in the state of Selangor.

CGG is a group comprising residents' associations and NGOs that are campaigning for transparency, accountability, local democracy and local council elections.
