A Little Bit of Help from MBPJ

SQUINTING EYES: Me visiting Haniza Talha's service centre in Taman Medan, one of the poorest areas in Petaling Jaya.

One of our proudest achievements there was to build a covered disabled friendly car park with a beautifully gentle ramp up to the YB's office.

Previously, wheelchair visitors had to be dangerously carried up a flight of steps to see the state assemblyperson for help. Now they can do it virtually on their own - all the way into her doorstep.

Amazing what a little selfless thinking can do with the help of the local government. Congrats YB! — with Kamal Vicky and Jeffrey FK Phang at Taman medan PJ.
