FLASHBACK!
Here are some photos of me giving a welcome - and farewell - speech to
two mayors of Petaling Jaya - the outgoing Dato Roslan bin Sakiman and
the incoming: Datin Alinah. It was so very impromptu.
I had no idea that
I was going to say anything until I
attended the event.
I felt so moved by the occasion that I was given
special permission to
do this, which I think the audience loved it. I
can't remember exactly what I said but some of it were to thank Dato
Roslan for allowing me to use the disabled-friendly van to carry out my
duties as a councillor.
I also appreciated him for the honesty that we
both shared in communicating with each other and finally for supporting
all the disability and animal welfare projects that I mooted through
MBPJ. I think it was a kind of a tear jerker in the end.
