MOST UNPLEASANT SCENE greeted me on Monday when I went to Maybank in
Section 52, Petaling Jaya. Not only was this car with a disabled sticker
on the dashboard (yellow paper) parked next to the disabled car park
but it totally blocked a...See more
- Vanaja Panickar, Julian Lee, Rubini Shiro Petto and 32 others like this.
- Tony Dibble apparently the yellow sticker does not belong to the vehicle owner or its authorised drivers:it should immediately be withdrawn upon immediate investigation.
- Chia Su-Ling Big git, so what if he is a so called big shot Datuk?! Should be dealt with severely like an ordinary rakyat.
- Richard Yeoh Just tow! The whole area is full of illegal parking right under the nose of enforcement staff!
- Richard Yeoh Anthony Siva Balan Thanasayan we need serious traffic enforcement in PJ so drivers abide by the law and we enhance road safety especially for the handicapped, the infirm, the aged and the young. We must stop leaving them to the mercies of depraved drivers. Please support me on this!
- Richard Yeoh I am glad we now have a Mayor who takes road safety seriously. We are planning proper designated cycle lanes, pedestrian lanes and safe crossings.
- Rajesh Mansukhlal Good show
Able bodied people should not abuse the "little privileges " given to WHEEL CHAIR BOUND PEOPLE.
Those who abuse should be punished n shamed in public. - Prem V.gopal Snap pic send to mppj. Same happnes in front of digital mall section 14 with the parking attended
- Anthony Siva Balan Thanasayan Yes Prem V.gopal MBPJ is fully aware of Section 14 problem too. Thanks!
- Martin Jalleh Great job Anthony! I fully empathise with the genuinely handicapped ever since I fractured my leg and was in a cast for 3 months and had to move around in a wheelchair or walker!
- Ali Kohlman Good job! Did ya know certain places over here they use that disabled spot for a quick stop like 10 min to drop off someone or loading something. Then if they park too long, they'll get a ticket. We also hv a law for people that driving a car with a disabled tag & doesn't hv any disabled person or a wheelchair person on it park on that special spot, they will also get a ticket for miss using the tag.
- Mala Mahadevan Martin- i share your sentiments. i had a major reconstructive foot surgery and was in a cast for 2 months and i too had to be in a wheelchair...
- R Kaurr Dhesi Should rip tht sticker first. After which a summon followed by a demerit mark in a database which lists such errant disgraceful ppl!!
- Kj John Everybody does this Datuk's! Go to any church on Sunday and find out who parks on these places!
- Anthony Siva Balan Thanasayan Kj John Jesus would be most ashamed. Thanks for pointing this out. Someone needs to use the whip that Jesus used for the moneychangers in his time and drive these datuks out!
- Alan S Tan Point of note. Disabled vehicles do NOT just ferry those who are physically challenged. The OKU cards are also given our for various other conditions. Sometimes the driver ferries OKU people around. I have a sticker on my car and people ask me why I dont just park in the OKU spot. Because, it seems I am taking up a regular spot which they want. YOu get all kinds.
