From Petpositive Facebook:
HERE's a picture of PETPOSITIVE's Sheltie Reba, trained to sit in the wheelchair of her human client next to the water closet.
Reba is constantly alert should a mishap occur and the wheelchair person slips and fall on the ground.
She will bark furiously until help arrives.
Her presence also gives the disabled person confidence when he performs potentially dangerous tasks such as transferring from his wheelchair to the toilet, bed, etc.
Although a medium-sized to small dog doesn't have much body strength to lift a patient, there are lots of other life-saving acts that she can perform.
Thank God for service dogs!
