Top Doberman In Surgery

UPDATE! Surgery successful! Zhar on the way home to recuperate. Here is the latest picture of the Amazing Doberman on the operating table before the surgery at the Gasing Veterinary Hospital in PJ this afternoon.

DATELINE PETALING JAYA: 

ONE OF PETPOSITIVE's youngest service canines, Dobeace Zhar will be undergoing surgery this afternoon. 

The two-year old Doberman is being spayed - a requirement for assistance dogs under Petpositive.

He is now at the Gasing Veterinary Hospital. The veterinary surgeon who is conducting the operation is Dr Prem Anand who is reputed to be one of the best veterinary doctors in the country.

The entire procedure is scheduled to take a couple of hours. 

Zhar should be back at home by 7pm. 

When news of Zhar's surgery was highlighted in Facebook, we received scores of messages from his "fans" who said they were praying for him and wishing him a speedy recovery.

Zhar began his food fast at midnight last night. His water fast began at 9 o'clock this morning.
