SS2 Mall - Visit It With An Able-Bodied Friend If You Are In A Wheelchair

 PETPOSITIVE NEWS UPDATE!

Friends forever: Chee Min and I
DATELINE: SS2 MALL, PETALING JAYA, SELANGOR.

THIS IS my long-time buddy James Wong Chee Min. We met up exactly a week ago for lunch where he treated me to some delicious Beef Rendang in Belanga Restaurant.

Chee Min's and my friendship goes back many years.

We were neighbourhood pals during the 1980s.

We used to do loads of fun things together like going swimming. Chee Min would push my wheelchair from my house to the local swimming pool.

We did this regularly, almost everyday. He was also in our Christmas caroling programme for three years running and many more.

So it was great to meet him again and catch up. During my meeting, I took the opportunity to check out the accessibility conditions of SS2 mall.

There wasn't much to shout about. The lifts weren't exactly easy to find even though they were equipped with Brailled buttions and a voice synthesizer to incidate the various floors.

If anyone plans to visit the mall, I suggest you take an able-bodied person along with you to help you.
