Malaysian oppn looks to sway Chinese, indigenous voters
Updated 30 April 2013, 14:30 AEST
As Malaysian's prepare for general
elections this weekend, many believe the eastern battleground states of
Sarawak and Sabah figure as crucial to the result.
Traditionally, the eastern states have been a stronghold of the
ruling coalition, and Barisan Nasional is spending up big to keep it
that way.
But the opposition thinks it has a chance to sway urban Chinese voters and at least some of the region's indigenous people.
