World Animal Day Check Up For Petpositive Dogs

Dr Prem checking Reba
PETPOSITIVE NEWS

DATELINE PETALING JAYA:

IT'S WORLD ANIMAL DAY today folks - and two of my dogs were due for their annual boosters yesterday.

And what an adventure it turned out to be to cart the suspicious canines to the local vet.

"Strong and healthy," he pronounces
It had to take two cars - mine and Andrew Martin's as we headed out in the afternoon to Dr Prem Anand at the Gasing Veterinary Clinic in Gasing Indah, PJ.

Fortunately for me, at least, the disabled parking built by the Petaling Jaya City Council for International Disabled Day last year was ready and waiting for a handicapped driver.

It was a cinch to get out of the car with Andrew's help.

With Reba on my lap, I wheeled up the wheelchair ramp all by myself. I was thrilled to note that the gradient was smooth enough for me to do it on my own.

Zeus didn't like it one bit
Whilst Andrew has serious problem trying to get Zeus to behave in front of the other furry haired patients, Reba the Sheltie just sat quietly like a queen on my lap looking down at all her "subjects," as it were.

Dr Prem who is a strong supporter of PETPOSITIVE carefully examined the two canines before giving them annual boosters.

Next it would be Biman III my German Shepherd Dog and Zhar the Doberman's turn to visit to good and kindly vet.

And that will be another story for this Blog.

HAPPY WORLD ANIMAL DAY ALL!
