Dog Rescued From Ignorance

PETPOSITIVE NEWS:

AT FIRST GLANCE this dog (left) looks as if it has found a good place to stay with its owner.

But not to the ever watchful eyes of Malaysia Independent Animal Rescue group based in Kajang, Selangor.

A closer inspection (right)  discovered a horrible gaping wound on the back of its head infested in maggots.

"Ignorance from the dog's owners has led to such a terrible situation," said MIAR president Puspa Rani to PET+BLOGSPOT this afternoon.

The dog has since been rescued and undergone successful treatment to reverse the problem.

It is currently under the care of MIAR.

Stories like these are always an inspiration to everyone reminding us that though we do not live in a perfect world, thank God for angels like MIAR who make a difference to animals!
