A top representative from the Klang municipality (MPK) is also expected to make a presentation in the institute.
It will be the first time the issue of animal-assisted therapy and local council stray management issues will be discussed.

Meanwhile, here is a letter about the event written by R Murali Rajaretenam. It was printed in the New Straits Times.
"HUMANS are one of the most dangerous animals walking on the planet.
We prey on other animals and wildlife for business, and this classifies us as predators in more ways than one.I don’t believe that laws alone are the key to crack down on cruelty to wildlife and animals.
Education is.
My students and I annually organise two campaigns: AniHELP, which is organised with the Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals; and HELP @ The coastline, a joint effort with World Wildlife Fund for Nature Malaysia to raise awareness of the dangers faced by turtles and painted terrapins.
Through these campaigns, many of my students have now moved on to championing the rights of animals. It is important for animals in our care to be treated with respect.
From cats to canaries, from dobermans to dachshunds, our pets seem to know how we feel.
They comfort us when we are hurt and make us happy when we are sad. They share our joy and stay by our side when times are bad.
But many humans are mean towards animals.
When animal keepers and handlers are more involved and informed about the standards of animal protection, the animals will be treated with consideration.
Raising awareness among the public about animal welfare also leads to greater consumer pressure for animal products to be made in a humane way. This results in more incisive action at the commercial and political levels.
A society that values all forms of life and minimising suffering is, generally, more humane. At the same time, people are better able to identify and prevent the abuse of animals.
There is no doubt that providing education on the proper treatment of animals and incorporating all living beings into our circle of compassion is the way to start changing the fate of abused and homeless animals.
A gracious society is not just made up of educated citizens, green trees, beautiful parks and the latest infrastructure. There are also humanity, kindness and empathy towards all living things."
