Dear Anthony,
Why has it taken forever for the most important Animal Welfare Bill to be tabled and the legislature passed considering there have been pet owners and wildlife in Malaysia long before independence.
Are Malaysians complete as humans without the animals and pets around us ??
Dear Anonymous,
It is a crying shame that Malaysia has not had such a bill.
But like all other important and critical matters in our country, such things can only come about when people start fighting for it.
To be honest, one has to point the fingers on local animal NGOs too. What have they been doing about it?
It is one thing to point fingers and criticize. We have had enough of that.
But what have they done to work hard for it?
This is a question that only the NGOs can answer.
Dear Anthony,
In Malaysia, so called pet hotels are just shops or houses where pets are kept in cages. The DG should investigate all such hotels.
When will these so called hoteliers ever learn? They need the harshest punishment as pets are so trusting of human beings and that trust is abused. Anyway who are the pet owners who board their pets there?
