The organiser of a political rally in Malaysia says the heavy lockdown of the capital city Kuala Lumpur this Saturday will not stop her from marching for fair and clean elections in the country.
Ambiga Sreenevasan says she and 90 other members of Bersih, an NGO behind the movement are determined to gather at the national stadium Merdeka despite a court order they received on Friday restricting their movements.
Meanwhile, the Bersih movement is going global with reports that there will be rallies held in solidarity on Saturday, in up to 30 countries around the world, including most capital cities in Australia.
