Don't Field Ean And Teo In Next GE, Say Animal Activists

Story by Malaysia Chronicle

Animal and human rights groups have delivered a memorandum of protest to DAP parliamentarians, demanding that Seri Kembangan assemblyman Ean Yong Hian Wah and Serdang MP Teo Nie Ching apologize to the public for defending the notorious Serdang Kitten Killer, aka 21-year Chow Xiao Wei who was captured on video torturing and killing 3 kittens.
The actvists also urged the lawmakers to use their positions to push for the offender’s prosecution. The memo delivered in Parliament was received by DAP MP for Ipoh Barat M Kulasegaran, MP for Bukit Mertajam Chong Eng, MP for Batu Gajah Fong Poh Kuan, MP for Kota Melaka Sim Tong Him and MP for Kota Kinabalu Hiew King Cheu, all of whom promised to address the issues.
All life is precious, animals have rights too
The memo also called for Yong and Teo not to be fielded as candidates in the next General Election and that disciplinary action be taken against them and all other representatives who did not conduct themselves in a “professional, ethical and lawful manner in carrying out their public duties”.
The protest was a joint effort by the Malaysian Animal Welfare Society (MAWS), Malaysian Animal Rights Society (ROAR), Petpositive, and Lawyers for Liberty. This is their second attempt to hand over the memorandum after the first failed last Saturday.
“The behaviour and subsequent responses of both reps has been unethical and unprincipled. No crime should go unpunished and the victim being a kitten doesn’t negate that fact,” Malaysian Animal Welfare Society (MAW) president Shenaaz Khan said in a press statement.
Stomped 3 kittens to death
Yong and Teo had organized a joint press conference with Chow, in which they tried to explain her actions and seek public forgiveness for the former shop assistant. Chow had said she was depressed because of her parents' divorce.
She was captured on CCTV hitting the litter of kittens with an umbrella and stomping them to death. The clip was posted on You Tube and went viral, sparking outrage among the animal rights groups.
Yong's statement at the press conference that “it was only a cat” added to the fire.

EAN & TEO are NEVER capable leaders. The reason why they were selected as candidates in the previous G.E. is becos' DAP lacks capable candidates to choose from. That's why DAP selected EAN & TEO.

These 2 dudes (EAN & TEO) are mere glamour seeking individuals. They will do anything just to me in the news.
