Please Help Petpositive This Ramadan

Ramadan - An occasion for Muslims to experience a spiritual overhaul

PETPOSITIVE wishes all Muslims everywhere a most meaningful and beautiful Ramadan Mubarak!

In this most important and holy month of the year where Muslims give special thought for the less fortunate, all of us in Petpositive would like to invite you to participate in our cause of empowering disabled and elderly persons through the power of pets as part of in your observance of Ramadan.

Here are some of our important and immediate needs if you can very kindly help us: 

1. Wheelchair donations: There is never a short supply of requests for this item especially from people who have suddenly become paralysed and need them. They are extremely vital for the sake of mobility in such situations. The cheapest wheelchairs cost about RM300 and the more expensive and durable ones are about RM1,500.00 and above. Petpositive donates wheelchairs only to poor and deserving people. Our latest target is for the poorest people in Petaling Jaya.
2. We need RM1,500.00 in rentals a month to keep our Petpositive Therapy Centre (PTC) in PJ going. The PTC is used to hold our meetings and carry out animal-assisted therapy and counselling sessions for the disabled and the elderly. It is also a place where handicapped and seniors can come to meet and inspire each other.
3. We are looking for a daytime personal assistant to our President to carry out Petpositive's duties. We are looking for a young man about 25-years or younger who loves animals and is comfortable working with our target groups. We are seeking for sponsors to pay his salary as well as a 24-hour male assistant for the Centre. If you can help, or know of someone who can, please call us at +6-012 220 3146.
