That's not to say that nothing much has been happening. On the contrary; it's been a terribly busy seven days!
Yesterday I went to University Hospital (PPUM) and was relieved to discover that the pressure sores in my legs were not as bad as I thought.
I got the correct medication from my specialist to treat it. I also took the opportunity to make an appointment for my bladder test via ultrasound. The man at the counter who was doing the appointment was rather surprised when I told him to make the date in early January of 2011.
I guess that was the first time anyone had been so patient and didn't particularly want to hurry an event.
Being on the ball, I also decided to visit the dentist too. It was quite a distance from where I was - but thankfully in the same building.
What a surprised my visit there was. The dentist didn't need me to sit on the dental chair. She instead examined my teeth with me seated on my wheelchair.
Her verdict: "Nothing wrong. You have a lovely set of teeth. You can go home now!"
Imagine that! Three hospital event with all virtually good news. Thank you God!.
