Dr Chandra is JUST president again - The Star

PETPOSITIVE SAYS: 

Congratulations are in order for Dr Chandra Muzaffar - PETPOSITIVE'S Adviser - who was re-elected President of JUST last week.

Dr Chandra continues to be a major voice in world affairs as well as speaking up on animal rights and welfare in Malaysia. 

He has helped PETPOSITIVE speak up on dogs and Islam and attended several forums on the subject as well as written about Islam's perspectives on the subject.

Dr Chandra service in PETPOSITIVE is completely voluntary.

Chandra Muzaffar re-elected JUST president


KUALA LUMPUR: Dr Chandra Muzaffar was re-elected president of the International Movement for a Just World (JUST) for the 2010-2013 term at its recent triennial general meeting.
JUST said in a statement Thursday that the other members of its executive committee are vice-president Abdullah Al-Ahsan, secretary-general Anas Zubedy, assistant secretary-general Tengku Ahmad Hazri and treasurer K. Haridas.
The committee members are Arujunan Narayanan, Asma Abdullah, Chin Yoong Kheong, Gan Teik Chee, Jahaberdeen Mohamed Yunoos, Evelyn Khoo Lyn Yin, Tengku Iskandar, Michael Allan, Muddathir Abdel-Rahim and Nooraini Mohd Ismail.
JUST is a society which seeks to develop global awareness of the injustices within the existing system with the aim of evolving an alternative international order which will enhance human dignity and social justice.
More specifically, its primary goal is to establish a spiritual and intellectual foundation for a just world. --
