PETPOSITIVE Looking For A Worker Who Loves Animals, The Disabled & The Elderly

PETPOSITIVE NEWS:

As you probably know, Our Society has been making appeals for donations recently.

This is to help pay for the monthly rentals of Our Office and Therapy Centre in Petaling Jaya, Selangor.

We need RM1,500 each month to keep Our Centre, which is the only one of its kind, going.

As many of you know the Petpositive Therapy Centre is a place where we conduct our official meetings.

It is also a base that we use to meet disabled and elderly persons who may be interested in taking part in animal-assisted therapy activities.

Our Centre is fully equipped with wheelchair-friendly accessibility.

It also serves as a model Centre for other disabled and elderly centres to come and visit in order to check out our facilities.

We were delighted recently to receive a lovely cheque of RM2,500 in support of our Centre.

The kind donor, a Yang Berhormat , has requested to remain anonymous although PET+BLOGSPOT was more than keen to write about him today.

All we can tell you now is that the YB, who is an animal-lover himself, has visited our Centre on several occasions.

We are also told that he is no stranger to working with disabled and elderly persons in the past.

The YB's contribution is very much appreciated by all of us here in Petpositive. His kind act will go towards helping to pay for our rentals for at least a couple of months or so.

We hope that more people will come forward to pledge to meet our rental needs so that more handicapped and senior Malaysians will be helped through our Society.

Meanwhile, Petpositive is still looking for a worker to join our Centre.

He must be an animal lover and enjoy working with disabled and elderly persons. He must also be able to drive. We are looking for a young man from the age of 20 until 35.

If you know of someone who fits the description, please call us at 012 220 3146.

Thank you and please don't forget to hug your pet today.
