Cancer researchers are discovering effective treatments for dogs that might benefit humans
Cancer researchers are discovering effective treatments for dogs that might benefit humans

Medical researchers are working on a vaccine for lymphoma, a blood cancer that afflicts both humans -- and dogs. In fact, the veterinary school at the University of Pennsylvania is working closely with the university's medical school to develop a vaccine for lymphoma that could prevent the disease in dogs, and then someday perhaps, prevent people from getting this form of cancer. VOA's Carol Pearson has the story.
